We're in New York safe and sound.
We've successfully battled the subway system and the supermarkets.
Dinner was fun last night. We made loads of pasta and a mega salad with fixings with garlic bread. We ate well to say. Cooking the meal was fun. It was good to get to know everyone better and give them tips on cooking. We basically took over the entire kitchen in the hostel.
At reflection we played the human tangle game where everyone crosses their hands, then grabs someone else hand and as a group, we tried to untangle ourselves. We somehow made two circles when we did it...
Later we went downtown to Times Square and walked around. It was fun to go into all of the megastores down there. We took loads of touristy pictures. We were pretty tired from waking up early and traveling all day so we got home around 12:30am. All in all it was a successful day.
Today (Sunday) was a free day so we all did our own thing for most of the day. We have dinner reservations later at an Indian restaurant. Should be good.
I miss my AB spring break friends! Will be thinking of you all week.
